Steps One, Two, Three:
Look through your button jars and grab some great buttons and beautiful ribbon.
Cut your ribbon to about 17″ for a 10″ high book, adjust as needed.
Sew an elastic hairband on one end of your ribbon by folding your ribbon up about 1/2″. I double fold to cover the raw edge of the ribbon.
Steps Four, Five:
If you do not have the color of hairbands you want, grab some thin elastic. Cut the elastic to about 3″ and tie off. Add a drop of glue if desired.
Double fold the opposite end of the ribbon, to enclose the raw edge. Sew button onto the end.
And your done…now that is quick and easy!
You can make several in no time at all it will be hard to stop. Gwen Studios has beautiful ribbon so the possibilities are endless!
